SIRT is proud to once again partner with the Italian Contemporary Film Festival in presenting the 2019 Industry Day on June 20 at Stage 10, Pinewood Toronto Studios.
This all-day event, titled The Convergence of Sound, Image and Literature, will showcase talks from various members of the film industry, including Oscar Award Winning Composer, Nicola Piovani, for Life is Beautiful; Oscar Award Winning Producer and Screenwriter, Nick Vallelonga, for Green Book; and Marco Spagnoli, Director of 7 Miracles. Filmmakers, producers and industry partners from Italy and Canada will come together for this showcase and networking event.
SIRT's immersive showcase experiences--available at breakfast, lunch and during the reception--highlight breakthroughs and technical firsts in spatial audio, 360 video and VR.

The ICFF started in 2012 as a non-profit film festival and has become the largest Italian film festival outside of Italy. It is presented in cities across Canada including Toronto, Vancouver, Hamilton, Quebec City and Montreal.
